Square Enix has released the first Kingdom Hearts gameplay footage running at a silky-smooth 60fps on PlayStation 4, taken from the upcoming Kingdom Hearts 1.5 and 2.5 compilation.
The video offers glimpses of the PS4 versions of Kingdom Hearts: Final Mix and Kingdom Hearts Re: Chain of Memories, which will be part of the upcoming dual bundle for Sony’s current-generation console.

Kingdom Hearts 1.5 and 2.5 HD ReMIX will launch on PS4 in the U.S. on March 28 and in Europe on March 31. Both collections were previously released on the PS3, and include the following games remastered in 60fps/1080p for Sony’s flagship system: Kingdom Hearts Final Mix, Kingdom Hearts Re: Chain of Memories,, Kingdom Hearts 2, Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep, Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days and Kingdom Hearts Re: Coded, the latter two being presented as high-definition movies.

Square Enix is currently working on Kingdom Hearts 3 for PS4 and Xbox One, although a release date has yet to be confirmed. The development team recently indicated however that the hotly anticipated Disney-RPG sequel may still be some way off from seeing the light of day.
