Naughty Dog has done it again by scooping up one of the most prestigious awards in gaming. The treasure hunting action game starring Nathan Drake is said to have been an “unexpected” win. Uncharted 4 was nominated in seven other categories but missed out.

Another PS4 exclusive, The Last Guardian, celebrated by winning the Audio achievement award, Overcooked took home the prize for Best British Game whilst Overwatch won Best Multiplayer. The title to win the most awards at the London ceremony was Inside, the 2D puzzle platformer that won four awards; Best Narrative, Best Game Design, Original property and Artistic achievement.
