Bethesda has confirmed that The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim is coming to PlayStation VR this November.
Called Skyrim VR, the trailer focuses entirely on first-person combat but apparently this is the complete RPG experience from the main game and will include all the Skyrim expansions including: Dawnguard, Hearthfire and Dragonborn.
It’s going to be interesting to see how this all plays out. So far, the PlayStation VR games have been fairly short experiences – mainly because spending too much time in virtual reality is so intense and can cause motion sickness.
Sony used its E3 2017 conference to show off a number of PSVR games, including a prequel to its PS4 horror game Until Dawn. Bethesda is also supporting the virtual reality headset by producing VR games based on Doom and Fallout 4.
