SEGA has announced a Yakuza 6 release date for western territories, confirming the game will launch on March 20, 2017 exclusively on PlayStation 4.

In addition to the standard edition of the game, Yakuza 6 will also come in two different special editions: After Hours Premium Edition and Launch Edition.

The former includes a wealth of extra physical content, including a hardcover art book, two 280ml shot glasses, ice stones, two coasters, and exclusive box. The Launch Edition meanwhile includes the hardcore art book.

Yakuza 6 has been available in Japan since December 2015, although due to the sheer amount of dialogue and text needed to translate for the U.S. and Europe, it’s no surprise to see the localisation take this long.

This latest instalment in the popular franchise is the first Yakuza title to utilise the Dragon Engine, which was made specifically with PS4 hardware in mind.
