Based on feedback given by the community involved in the recent Destiny 2 beta, Bungie is planning some changes for the shooter’s full release in September.
Currently, Xbox One players are able to preload Destiny 2 ahead of release, which reportedly comes in at 29.15GB. PS4 owners will be able to preload on September 3.
Included in the changes from the beta for the main game are:
1. Supers will recharge faster
“In the wake of the beta, we’ve made a few changes that will increase super regeneration across the game,” said game director, Luke Smith recently after fans were annoyed that supers took too long to charge.
2. Turbines in the Homecoming mission tweaked
Remember those annoying turbines in the first Destiny 2 mission, where it wasn’t uncommon to die repeatedly from too many blades whizzing around? Well, Bungie has confirmed that they’ll only be one spinning turbine instead of two.
3. PvE and PvP balance changes
Though Bungie has yet to go into the final details of the changes between PvE and PvP, it has confirmed tweaks are being made. Bungie’s Justin Truman said: “We do have changes between the two of them. Supers will charge at slightly different rates, and the number of bullets it takes to kill a Guardian is different to the number of bullets it takes for a combatant.”
We’re sure they’ll be a ton of other changes addressed, but we’ll have to wait until Destiny 2 is released on September 6 to find out more.
