Bungie has confirmed the much-anticipated Destiny 2 Iron Banner return date, with the PvP event returning next week.
Iron Banner is scheduled to kick off on October 10, 2017 at 2.00am PST/5.00am EST/10.00am BST. The hard-as-nails multiplayer mode will wrap up one week later on October 17. There’s also a brief tease on the Destiny 2 Iron Banner armor on Twitter.
Destiny 2 Iron Banner details
The inaugural Iron Banner event for Bungie’s sequel will take place in Control mode, and features power scaling.
Unlike the original Destiny however, there are no Bounties and Ranks to earn. Instead, players will earn Iron Banner tokens, which can be handed into Lord Saladin to increase reputation. Once you’ve levelled up, you’ll receive a prize.
New to Destiny 2 Iron Banner will be Daily and Season Milestones. No details on the latter have been provided by Bungie as of yet, but we’ll be sure to keep you posted.
There’s currently no details on the Destiny 2 Iron Banner gear that Guardians can expect to earn, but expect more info soon.
