Just over a week ago, we posted that the first Destiny 2 expansion has been leaked, and was set to be called "Curse of Osiris" and be released this December. Interestingly, that little tidbit has just been confirmed today.
Over on the Microsoft store, an official listing for called "Destiny 2 0 Expansion I: Curse of Osiris" is now up, and it even has an official description that confirms Mercury will be explored.
Destiny 2 Expansion I: Curse of Osiris continues your Guardian’s journey with all-new story missions and adventures set in a new destination, Mercury. Journey through time and space to learn the secrets of Osiris, avert a dark future, and rebuild the ties between the legendary Warlock and his greatest student – Ikora Rey.
Features:
– Explore Mercury and its mysterious "Infinite Forest"
– New story missions and adventures
– New themed weapons, armor, and gear to earn
– New cooperative activities
– New competitive multiplayer arenas
– And more…
Activision has also verified with Game Informer that this is indeed a legit expansion post on the Microsoft Store — not that there’s any room left to doubt it anyway.
