Had your fill of Code Vein gameplay? Maybe you want check out some of the RPG features it has going for it. If so, then you’re in luck. Today, as part of IGN"s "First" deep dive look into the game, we see some Code Vein character creation footage and how you’ll be able to shape up your own vampire.
In the four-minute video, we get to hear game director Hiroshi Yoshimura and producer Keita Iizuka talk about Code Vein customization. Not only can you choose your character’s gender, body type and face, you can even tweak the eye color, hair, and more. The development team behind Code Vein (Shift) is emphasizing that it wants you to be able to create the avatar you want. Accessories like glasses, face stickers, and even sleeves and collars are customizable too.
The dev team also talks about not wanting to make Code Vein look cartoony, but not too realistic either. One of the ways they’re trying to achieve this is by not shading the characters "too realistically."

Code Vein is being published by Bandai Namco Entertainment for release sometime in 2018.
