Epic Games’ latest Fortnite event will reportedly be based on sci-fi series Doctor Who in celebration of the show’s 60th anniversary.
That’s at least according to iFIreMonkey on Twitter, who has a solid track record in outing upcoming Fortnite content ahead of an official reveal. They claim that the Fortnite Doctor Who event will last for two weeks and features 2 skins, 2 pickaxes, 1 glider, and an emote in the Item Shop.
In addition to the info above, the also shared an image of what is supposedly an early version of the in-game menu tab for the event, which references the Tardis and U.N.I.T. Obviously there’s no official confirmation yet, but hopefully it won’t be long to find out more.
Doctor Who coming to Fortnite is perfectly feasible, seeing as how the game has embraced all manner of franchises in the past, including God of War, Resident Evil, Marvel’s Avengers, John Wick, and many more.
