Alien Isolation, the upcoming survival horror title from Creative Assembly, has gone gold, publisher SEGA has confirmed.
The game is now in the process of entering manufacturing ahead of its hotly anticipated launch on October 7.
Based on the popular science-fiction movie franchise, the game takes place 15 years after the events of the original 1979 classic, and stars Amanda Ripley, the daughter of series protagonist, Ellen.
To coincide with the news of the game acheiving gold status, SEGA has released a new trailer for the horror title, which can be seen below.
Alien Isolation is due out on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, PC, Xbox One, and Xbox 360.
