Alien: Isolation sales hit 2.11 million, confirms SEGA

SEGA has announced that Alien: Isolation has sold 2.11 million copies worldwide since its launch in October 2014.

Developed by Creative Assembly, Alien: Isolation attracted positive reviews from critics upon release, with a sequel already rumored to be in the works.

Despite its success, SEGA expressed its disappointment with overall software sales of 12.3 million during the past financial year, branding them ‘weak.’ Aside from Alien: Isolation, it also cited the likes of Sonic Boom: Rise of Lyric and Sonic Boom: Shattered Crystal as examples.
