Respawn’s crown live-service jewel Apex Legends is getting ready to kick off Season 19: Ignite, which will launch on October 31, 2023.
Ahead of that launch, it’s begun featuring what’s new in the season, namely a brand new legend being introduced to the hero-shooter battle royale, Conduit.
A “Stories From The Outlands” trailer features an animated trailer that introduces Conduit and gives a short background on her, and why she’s making her way to the Apex Games in the first place.
After her family falls on hard times due to her Mom being injured and unable to work, Conduit steps up to join the Apex Games in hopes to provide for her family, inspired to protect her family by the Titans that protected them long ago.

We’ll get a full reveal of the new season, though still likely not a gameplay reveal on October 23, 2023, and more gameplay, specifically Conduit gameplay, leading up to the launch on Halloween.
Last Season, we saw Revenant get an entirely new kit in a refresh of his character, and before that we had Balistic join the fray. It’ll be interesting to see how Conduit will add to the gameplay meta of Apex, and if, like Catalyst before her, Conduit will break into the pro-level gameplay.
