The latest PSVR game that will take advantage of the PlayStation VR Aim controller will be Arizona Sunshine, a shooter set amidst a zombie apocalyptic invasion.
Developed by Vertigo Games, Arizona Sunshine is due for release in June and sees in the role of a survivor searching for other survivors across the Arizona desert, while facing an onslaught on the undead.
Featuring online campaign co-op with two players, or a four-player zombie survival mode, Arizona Sunshine can be played with just the DualShock 4, Move Controllers, or the new Aim controller.
“As for the Aim controller, since the game was initially created with dual-wielding guns in mind, we’ve thoroughly tested ways to get the support for it right,” says Trevor Blom Lead Technician at Vertigo Games. “And while using the Aim controller limits you to using a single weapon at a time, it makes up for that by increasing accuracy and control, upping your chances for critical, dismembering hits. That’s right, the fan-favorite zombie mutilation mechanic also made it onto PlayStation VR!”
The PSVR Aim controller launches alongside Farpoint on May 16, which is already being labelled as one of the best PlayStation VR games. Farpoint is a sci-fi bug-blasting shooter which features two-player co-op.
