According to gaming website Kotaku, Electronic Arts Montreal is planning on releasing downloadable content for its Third Person Shooter title, Army of Two, which is released in North America and Europe today.
“I couldn’t help but ask what Electronic Arts Montreal is up to, now that their game has shipped,” said Kotaku’s Brain Crecente. “Downloadable content, I was told. When I pressed for more details, all I was told was that there’s a ton of it being created for Army of Two.”
Army of Two focuses on cooperative-based gameplay, allowing players to team up with a built-in Partner Artificial Intelligence (PAI) or cooperate with other gamers in an effort “to fight through war, political turmoil and a conspiracy so vast it threatens the entire world."
One of the game’s major attractions is its in-depth weapon customisation option, which allows the player to upgrade a variety of weapons throughout the game, ranging from standard pistols, shotguns and automatics, to more advanced and destructive tools, such as rocket launchers, sniper rifles and grenade launchers.
Stay tuned for more coverage on the game in the near future.
