Electronic Arts this week announced that the forthcoming PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 title Army of Two will be released concurrently in North America and Europe from November 15th, 2007.
Conceptually, the game is made to cater to the idea of cooperative-based gameplay, where one such feature, the "Aggro-meter", comes into play. With this, the enemy will focus most of its efforts onto the player who is causing the most destruction (killing, weapon usage etc), allowing your teammate to avoid detection, and flank the enemy, as they are otherwise preoccupied.
The “arrgo” player can also then go into “overkill” mode, giving them unlimited ammunition and the ability to cause double the damage per shot for a short period of time. The third-person shooter also allows gamers to enter or exit any local internet-based match, where you can take part in large-scale multiplayer battles.
Expect more details on the game here at PSU in the near future.
