Helldivers 2 developer Arrowhead Games has moved to quash rumours that the studio is possibly going to be added to the growing family of PlayStation-owned game developers.
The company’s CEO, Johan Pilestedt, responded to a claim on Twitter that Arrowhead Games is apparently going to be acquired by Sony, specifically a message that included a ‘Welcome to the family’ banner that Sony traditionally uses when it has acquired a developer.
Here’s what Pilestedt had to say on the matter:
This is fake…Unless I’ve missed something. Also, a really shitty old logo from 2008 or so when we just started the studio.
