Helldivers 2 is the second major success of 2024 that reached heights no one could’ve seen coming. It has remained in the top 20 selling games on Steam since its launch, with much of that time spent in the number 1 spot.
It’s also officially the biggest launch for any PlayStation published game on PC, and is one of the more popular titles being watched on Twitch.
All this success is great to see for developer Arrowhead Studios, and thanks to Helldivers 2 doing so well, the studio is looking to hire more staff in an effort to “accelerate” its plans for future content.
Arrowhead Studios chief executive officer Johan Pilestedt said in a statement on Twitter that they are looking for more team members to “help us accelerate and beef up our content plans.”

There aren’t any specific openings currently, though Pilestedt invites any senior developers looking for work to send in their information to the ‘Open Applications’ section on the studios website.
In a sea of layoff stories that never seem to stop, it’s great to see an independent developer find so much success they need to expand to keep the momentum going.
