Ubisoft has revealed a short video for Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced that showcases how you can turn the game’s HUD off with a press of a button, offering a more cleaner experience for those who want to keep clutter to a minimum.
You can watch the HUD options in the video here, and to be fair, turning it off really does allow the game’s environments and characters to breathe more, but that’s not to say the game looks bad with it on.
Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced completely overhauls the 2013 swashbuckling adventure game, offering spruced up character models and environments to bring it up to modern standards. Beyond that, the game revamps combat with a new parry and defense bar system while implementing a dedicated crouch button to aid in stealth and improving parkour. Black Flag Resynced also includes brand new narrative beats for characters such as Stede Bonnet and Blackbeard and new areas to explore dotted throughout the Caribbean open world.
Ubisoft will publish Assassin’s Creed Black Flag for PS5, PC, and Xbox Series X/S on July 9, 2026.
