Ubisoft has finally announced the long-rumoured Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced, a remake of the 2013′ swashbuckling action-adventure game that was leaked over two years ago.
Speaking in an email sent to press regarding upcoming Assassin’s Creed projects, the publisher commented, Speculation around Assassin’s Creed is not new, but it’s worth repeating: “Nothing is true. Everything is permitted.” Well, except in this case, some whispers have a little more wind in their sails. Keep your spyglass on the horizon.”
This was accompanied by an image of Edward Kenway and the logo for Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced. That’s about all we have to go on right now, though, but hopefully we’ll see more on the game soon.
Back in September, a large batch of info regarding Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced was shared on Reddit, revealing the upcoming remake will remove the modern day section and replace them with new content set during the Golden Age of Piracy. Furthermore, it claims there will be no loading screens when moving between your ship and land, Edward will have loot and gear stats, and gameplay will shift closer to the RPG style introduced in Assassin’s Creed Origins.
