Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced Reveal Confirmed For April 23

Ubisoft has announced that it will fully unveil Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced during a dedicated livestream on April 23, 2026. The event will take place at 9.00am PST/6.00pm CEST.

Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced is a full remake of the 2013 swashbuckling entry in the franchise, which takes place during the 17th century during a period known as the Golden Age of Piracy. Players control Edward Kenway, the grandfather of Assassin’s Creed III protagonist Connor, as he commands his own ship, the Jackdaw, and in search of riches while brushing shoulders with a number of historical figures such as Edward ‘Blackbeard’ Teach and Mary Reed.

It’s not all sailing and plundering though, as Kenway is also introduced to the world of the Assassins Brotherhood and their long-running war against the Templar Order, and so players soon find themselves undertaking classic Assassination missions and infiltrating enemy strongholds.

Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced is reportedly set to launch on July 9, 2026.
