Ubisoft has unveiled a new trailer showing off Assassin’s Creed III’s multiplayer component
So far Deathmatch, Wolf Pack and Domination Modes have been confirmed, with maps ranging from the war-torn streets of Boston Harbor, to the freezing temperatures of the North West Passage and even a Virginian Plantation.
The impressive thing is each map seems to have carried over the dynamic weather system from the main single player, which will vastly change the terrain and the way players approach assassinations.
Players can choose from 16 characters to assassinate their friends with like The Carpenter and The Bear. Each character contains his or her own specific weaponry, customization and skills, and can then select from 14 unique abilities.
For example, Money Bomb allows a player to detect an enemy in a crowd as all the civilians will drop for the money, whilst the enemy won’t.
Finally, the player can also choose from 10 distinct perks which last for the entire duration of a match. For example the Blender perk will morph a civilian into the same attire as you when you walk into a crowd which will cause confusion for your enemy and more than likely reveal them.
Assassin’s Creed III is due out on October 31 for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
