Assassin’s Creed Multiplayer ‘Project Invictus’ Officially Announced By Ubisoft

Ubisoft has officially announced development of a new Assassin’s Creed multiplayer title, known as Project Invictus.

The company announced the game’s development during its latest earnings report, where it commented, “Additionally, a team, including For Honor veterans, is currently working on bringing back multiplayer to Assassin’s Creed with a standalone experience through Infinity under the project codename Invictus.”

While details are scare right now, we do know that the multiplayer title will form part of Assassin’s Creed Infinity, which is the upcoming hub-based that will house a number of projects including Assassin’s Creed Red and Assassin’s Creed Hexe.

Beyond that, Ubisoft is also working on Assassin’s Creed Mirage, a new entry in the series that takes place in Baghdad and will see players controlling Basim, who previously appeared in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla.

Assassin’s Creed Mirage is due out on PS4, PS5, PC, Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One in 2023.
