Assassin’s Creed Origins live action trailer will send your hype through the roof

Ubisoft has unsheathed an Assassin’s Creed live action trailer, and it’s suitably moody and stab-happy as you’d expect from the series.

The trailer is narrated by Abubaker Salim, the actor who provides the voice for the game’s hero, Bayek. It’s also accompanied by The Middle of the World by Nicholas Britell, and depicts a surprisingly accurate recreation of ancient Egypt, featuring some top-notch production values.

If anything, it definitely sets the mood for Ubisoft’s upcoming stealth-action title, and is definitely one of the more polished live-action trailers we’ve seen to date.

Assassin’s Creed Origins is scheduled for release on October 27, 2017 for PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One.

The game is the first major entry in the multi-million selling franchise since 2015’s Assassin’s Creed Syndicate. Since then, we’ve seen the spin-off series Assassin’s Creed Chronicles and the Hollywood movie starring Michael Fassbender.

Ubisoft recently confirmed its full DLC lineup for Assassin’s Creed Origins, which includes numerous hours of extra gameplay via new missions and more.

Interestingly, the game will also support a combat-free Discovery Tour mode, allowing you to roam the environment freely while taking in some key historical facts.
