Assassin’s Creed Origins release date leak ahead of Ubisoft E3 reveal

Well, Ubisoft hasn’t exactly been able to keep the lid on its new Assassin’s Creed game. Despite announcing little about Assassin’s Creed Origins there’s already a ton of information out there.

The latest leak comes from the cover of Game Informer magazine, which will feature new details on Assassin’s Creed Origins. The photos from the mag show the game’s tagline: “As an empire falls, a brotherhood rises," alongside a release date of October 27, 2017.

It also confirms that they’ll be a pre-order DLC mission entitled: "Secrets of the first pyramid".

The latest information follows a logo and main character leak, and details of Akhom, a bird that players can use to hunt for points of interest and collectibles.

Initial leaks confirmed an Egyptian setting featuring pyramids, and the latest Game Informer leak confirms that with the Assassin’s Creed Origins hero standing on top of a Sphinx. The game is expected to be set during the reign of Cleopatra.
