Ubisoft has confirmed it has no plans to release a new Assassin’s Creed title for the PlayStation Vita.
Quizzed by a fan on Twitter if the French publisher had any plans for a new handheld entry in the pseudo-historical action-adventure series, the company replied, "nothing’s planned at the moment for such a game but we’ll keep you posted!"
Ubisoft previously released Assassin’s Creed III: Liberation for Sony’s portable games device in fall 2012. However, it was later ported to PlayStation 3, PC, and Xbox 360 with high-definition visuals earlier this year.
Assassin’s Creed Unity and Assassin’s Creed Rogue will be hitting PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3, respectively, in November this year.
