Assassin’s Creed Syndicate ‘Jack the Ripper’ DLC release date confirmed

Ubisoft has announced that the Jack the Ripper DLC for Assassin’s Creed Syndicate will launch on PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One on December 19.

The content takes place 20 years after the events of the main campaign, and sees seasoned assassin, Evie Frye, returning to London in the year 1888 to crack the case of Jack the Ripper, who has been leaving a trail of bloody corpses in his wake throughout Whitechapel. The content will set you back $14.99, although if you’re a Season Pass holder, you can pick it up free of charge.

Assassin’s Creed Syndicate was released in October for PS4, PC, and Xbox One. The game takes place in London in the year 1868, during Queen Victoria’s reign on the throne of England and at the height of the Industrial Revolution. Syndicate introduces two playable characters, Evie and Jacob Frye, as they battle the Templars by conquering the London districts from the notorious Blighters gang, as well as assassinating key members of the Templar order. Players can switch between both characters at any time while not on a story mission, taking advantage of their unique abilities: Evie is more skilled in stealth, while Jacob prefers to get his hands dirty by brawling with his enemies.
