Ubisoft has revealed that Assassin’s Creed Syndicate will not feature a multiplayer mode.
Speaking to GameSpot in light of the London-based action-adventure’s official reveal yesterday, Executive Producer, Francois Pelland, said that the lack of multiplayer in the game largely came down to various technical restrictions.
Pelland said that having multiple characters riding vehicles "adds complexity," which combined with combat that requires a "very high responsiveness on the system," resulted in the team decided to give multiplayer the cold shoulder.
Assassin’s Creed Syndicate takes place in London during Queen Victoria’s reign, and will launch on PS4, PC and Xbox One on October 23. Check out the latest screenshots here and have a look at the various Special Editions available for the game.
