Assassin’s Creed Unity Patch 4 on hold

Earlier this month Ubisoft, the developers of the critically acclaimed Assassin’s Creed franchise announced that a patch was on the way for the latest title in the series, Assassins Creed Unity, which follows a rough launch filled with glitches and performance issues.

The update was announced to be pushed out on Monday, December 15th however Ubisoft announced that “we are choosing to hold off until we can give you the improvements we’ve promised.” then later saying the fixes required more time than expected.

Other issues were already fixed in Patch 3 which rolled out after the game’s launch on November the 14th.

No new release date for the update has been announced, however Ubisoft said this update will fix most of the remaining problems with the game.

As a plus for this week, all owners of Assassin’s Creed Unity will be able to choose between the Dead Kings DLC or an entire other Ubisoft Game for free, if you’re a Season Pass owner, to make up for the bumpy launch. More info for the offers can be found on the Assassin’s Creed Q&A page.
