Horror movie legend John Carpenter has taken to Twitter to air his feelings on Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, and suffice to say, The Thing director is quite a fan of Ubisoft’s Viking epic.

ASSASSIN’S CREED VALHALLA is a return to excellence in the franchise. Massive open world, beautifully designed, with great gameplay. Incredible game.
To be fair, we have to agree with Carpenter on this one: Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is a brilliant entry in the series, with the PS5 edition being the definitive version to play.

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla takes place during the Dark Ages and follows Viking warrior Eivor, who travels to Britain to establish a new home for their clan. Along the way, they get caught up in the war between the Assassins and the Templar Order, but at its heart the game is all about finding your own way and forging new relationships cementing allies.
