Ubisoft’s Ashraf Ismail has unwrapped fresh details on the highly anticipated Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, including info on your trusty bird companion, a feature that has been a staple since 2017’s Assassin’s Creed Origins.
New Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Details
Speaking during a livestream with the Washington Post overnight, Ismail, who serves as the game’s director and was also at the helm of Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag, revealed that players will be able to change your character’s hair colour and kit them out in different styles.

Much like Origins, you can choose to wear your hood up or down, but it’ll be easier to do so as you won’t need to go into the menu. As for your bird buddy, Valhalla’s crow is named Synin (that’s pronounced Sue-nin, for the record) and is meant to tie in to the Old Norse for insight.
Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is scheduled for release in holiday 2020 for PS5, PS4, PC, Xbox Series X, and Xbox One.
