Assassin’s Creed Valhalla PS5 Performance Could Be Limited To 4K 30 FPS

Assassin’s Creed Vahalla‘s PS5 performance could be limited to 4K, 30 FPS according to a new statement released by Ubisoft.

Speaking to Eurogamer Portugal, Ubisoft talked about how with the Xbox Series X they will be able to hit 30 FPS at a minimum. But, the developer didn’t comment on hitting 60 FPS.

And, whilst this is talking about the Xbox Series X, it has been revealed by multiple developers that the PS5’s power is similar. Therefore, it is likely that the Assassin’s Creed Valhalla’s PS5 performance would be similar (likely 4K 60 FPS). The full statement from Ubisoft can be found below, thanks to a translation on ResetEra.

Currently, we can guarantee that Assassin’s Creed Valhalla will run at least 30 FPS. Assassin’s Creed Valhalla will benefit from faster loading times, allowing players to immerse themselves in history and the world without friction. Finally, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla will benefit from improved graphics made possible by the Xbox Series X, and we can’t wait to see the beautiful world we’re creating in stunning 4K resolution.

We will have to wait to see what this means for PS5. Ubisoft has just announced Ubisoft Forward, a news showcase for July 12 where we will get more information on Assassin’s Creed Valhalla.
