Ubisoft’s latest Assassin’s Creed Valhalla update for PS5 and Xbox Series X may have resulted in some unintentional frame rate hiccups, but one thing it has got right is fixing the annoying Trophy issue. You’ll probably know what I’m talking about if you’ve been playing the game a lot since release.
Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Trophy Issue Fix On PS5
In case you aren’t aware, previously Assassin’s Creed Valhalla did not unlock your PS4 Trophies for the PS5 edition. In other words, if you unlocked a bunch of them already for PS4 and booted the game up on PS5, you’d have to earn them all over again. Not cool, right?

Well, fortunately, this issue has been rectified. I came across this issue myself when playing the PS5 version, having noticed that I hadn’t unlocked a Trophy for completing my first Viking Raid. I had, of course, embarked on a ton of raids on PS4, so this was somewhat annoying to see.
TheSixthAxis noted that your Trophies will now stack for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, which is great news for Trophy Hunters and regular gamers alike.
Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is now available for PS5, PS4, PC, Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One. Read our review of the PS5 version of the game here.
