Assetto Corsa Competizione, which is the official game of the GT World Challenge, will be coming to next-generation consoles this year.
The game was originally released for the PC in May 2019 and later arrived for PS4 and Xbox One last year. At launch, Assetto Corsa Competizione featured the 2018 season, which at the time was the Blancpain GT Series. However, it’s since expanded to included additional seasons and racing series, including the Intercontinental GT Challenge and GT4 cars.
The PS4 and Xbox One versions of the game were noted to have various technical issues due to ageing hardware, although developers D3T and Kunos Simulazioni have improved its performance with various updates.
No release date has been given yet for the PS5 and Xbox Series X versions of Assetto Corsa Competizione, but we’ll keep you updated as soon as we hear something.
