Attack on Titan game for PlayStation platform coming from Koei Tecmo’s Dynasty Warriors team Omega Force

For the past week, Koei Tecmo’s Omega Force, the team behind the Dynasty Warriors series and spin-offs, has been counting down to a new collaborative project on a teaser site. However, it’s leaked early: an Attack on Titan game for a PlayStation platform launching this winter in Japan.

The leak came from a photo taken of the wraparound jacket band on the 17th volume of the original Attack on Titan manga out later this week and included a QR code that re-directs to the website www.gamecity.ne.jp/shingeki, which is currently inactive. It does not specify which console the game will be for other than for a PlayStation platform.

The proper reveal of Koei Tecmo’s Attack on Titan will be tomorrow, August 5.

Each day since July 29, the teaser site featured a new text clue:

Day 1 – 7/29: “This is not ‘Warriors.’”
Day 2 – 7/31: “It comes from the beyond.”
Day 3 – 8/01: “In a world of fear and despair.” Day 4: “Who can you truly trust?”
Day 5 – 8/02: “Is this world even real?”
Day 6 – 8/03 : “With blade in hand, fight on!”
Day 7 – 8/04: “Tomorrow, the truth will be revealed.”

Attack on Titan: Humanity in Chains was released for the Nintendo 3DS earlier this year.
