Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora is set to receive a new update on December 5, 2025 that will introduce a third-person view and New Game+ mode, Ubisoft and Massive Entertainment have announced.
Speaking on the news, Omar Bouali, Massive Entertainment’s Creative Director, commented:
We’ve always envisioned Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora as a living world that evolves with our players. This update is a celebration of our community’s passion and we’re thankful to our players for their support. It means the world to our team.

The third-person mode allows players to experience Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora from a new perspective, offering a new sense of scale, freedom, and immersion. Furthermore, animations, controls and audio have been reworked to offer a seamless and intuitive experience. New Game+ meanwhile gives you the chance to replay the game while keeping your inventory and skills, as well as the chance to unlock a new skill tree and powerful gear — all the while battling against tougher foes.
Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora was released in December 2023 for PS5, PC, and Xbox Series X/S.
