Batman: Arkham HD Collection will be swooping onto PlayStation 4 later this year, according to a leaked production description originating from GameStop (via EuroGamer).
The long-rumored bundle will include high-definition remasters of Batman: Arkham Asylum and Batman: Arkham City, as well as all available downloadable content for both games. Arkham Origins isn’t included, although that wasn’t developed by Rocksteady Studios.
According to the leaked images, the collection will be released on PS4 and Xbox One on June 10, with pre-orders supposedly going live later today.
Batman: Arkham Knight was originally released in 2009 on PS3 and Xbox 360, and is credited for reinvigorating the flagging superhero video game genre. The sequel, Arkham City, turned up in 2011 and presented gamers with a sprawling open-world Gotham City to explore.
Warner Bros. Montreal took over the development reins for 2013’s Arkham Origins, which was followed by the PS4 and Xbox One Rocksteady-developed Arkham Knight last summer, bringing an end to the franchise.
Rocksteady has yet to confirm details on its next project, though rumors have suggested it will stick to the DC universe.
