Batman Arkham HD Collection release confirmed via new survey

Fresh evidence suggesting that Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment plans on remastering Batman: Arkham Asylum and Batman: Arkham City for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One has surfaced online via a new survey.

The survey (seen below, via GearNuke) attempts to gauge fan interest in a HD Collection of Bats’ last-generation adventures, and includes questions on a possible name for the bundle, as well as showcasing various pieces of artwork.

We have also gathered reports from Survey Cool where the critically acclaimed superhero titles in high-definition are remastered, the HD Collection will also include all available DLC for the games and improved lighting effects.

This isn’t the first time reports of Arkham Asylum and Arkham City being remastered have surfaced, although once again, it appears Arkham Origins is not being considered for a current-generation overhaul.

This may have something to do with the fact the prequel was developed by Warner Bros. Montreal’s team and not original creator, Rocksteady Studios.

The final chapter in the Arkham series is due out on June 23 for PS4 and Xbox One. No launch date has been confirmed for the HD Collection, although with the release all but confirmed now, expect to hear something soon.
