Rocksteady’s critically acclaimed Batman: Arkham Knight is set to receive the Game of the Year Edition treatment, according to a listing on Amazon Germany.
The retail giant claims the bundle will be released on July 28 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Unsurprisingly, the Game of the Year Edition is set to include all available downloadable content for the superhero sequel.
Batman: Arkham Knight was originally released for current-generation systems back in August 2015. The game is the final chapter in the Arkham series, which kicked off with Arkham Asylum in 2009 and continued with 2011’s Arkham City.
Developer Rocksteady has been credited with single-handedly revitalizing the video game superhero genre with Arkham Asylum, with garnered acclaim for its intuitive combat system, compelling storyline and ample fan service.
Both Arkham Asylum and Arkham City will be remastered later this summer for PS4 and Xbox One as part of the Return to Arkham Collection.
