DICE General Manager Oskar Gabrielson has hinted that news regarding Cross-Play and Free To Play for Battlefield 2042 will be dropping at some point down the line.
Speaking during a Q&A following the Battlefield 2042 reveal yesterday, Gabrielson didn’t reveal any explicit details about Cross-Play or Free To Play, but it sounds like something’s brewing. Regardless, DICE will have something more to share on its progress with the game soon.
We have more news to share both on progression and the great work that Associate Design Director Feras Musmar and his team have been doing and cross-play in the next couple of months. More on that shortly!
As you might remember, back in the days, we did Battlefield Heroes as a free to play game. We have nothing to share today but look forward to more announcements in the future.
