Battlefield 2042 is getting support from other big EA IP’s, namely Dead Space as a new collaboration between the two franchises has been revealed for a new event in 2042’s latest season.
The Outbreak event runs from July 9-16, during which time players can earn a few free rewards like a new weapon charm, a new skin, player card background and tag. There’s also a paid bundle which features a Dead Space specialist outfit, and three legendary weapon skins plus a few more items for 2200 BFC.
While the cosmetics all look great, the biggest piece of news from this collaboration is a new limited-time mode being introduced for the event. A new horde mode called Outbreak will be available for players to try surviving as long as they can to escape the laboratory in Boreas.
