Electronic Arts has announced that it will lift the cloth on DICE’s hotly anticipated Battlefield 3 at GDC on March 1, 2011.
In addition, the publishing giant also plans to showcase a host of other heavy hitters at the event, including Shadows of the Damned, Alice: Madness Returns, Kingdom of Amalur: Reckoning and Crysis 2.
As for Battlefield 3, developer sessions have already been confirmed to be in the pipeline for the San Francisco-based shindig, with EA boss John Riccitiello revealing prior to Christmas that the game would hit shelves within the final six months of 2011.
Invites to the game’s multiplayer beta were included in copies of last year’s Medal of Honor reboot.
