Visceral Games has announced that the next installment in the Battlefield franchise will ship with nine multiplayer maps and seven game modes.
Speaking to YouTube channel JackFrag, Visceral Games’ Steve Papoutsis said, “there’s actually 7 game modes, 9 multiplayer maps, a whole single-player campaign, a unique story, different weapons, new vehicles [and] eSports modes” due for inclusion in Battlefield Hardline on day-one.
"There’s just tonnes of stuff that I’m really happy to talk about and excited and proud of what the team’s doing," Papoutsis added.
Battlefield Hardline was originally due out in fall 2014, but was pushed back to afford additional development time until early 2015.
The game will be released for last and current-generation consoles.
