If you’ve still not been able to secure any of the PlayStation hardware that’s been themed for the 30th Anniversary of the platform, then you’ll be happy to know you have another chance.
Spotted by Wartio64, Best Buy Drops will have a restock of both the 30th Anniversary DualSense and the 30th Anniversary PS5 Slim bundle on Tuesday, December 2, 2024.
To take advantage of restocks on Best Buy Drops, you’ll need to download the mobile app, and opt-in to the notifications for the service, and because it is a Best Buy Drops release, you’ll only be able to grab it from the Best Buy app.
So better to be watching your phone on Tuesday than to be refreshing the website. What’ll be interesting to see though is if a restock like this will be one of the last big chances fans have at grabbing any of the 30th Anniversary edition hardware.
The next day, December 3rd, is the actual 30-year anniversary of the PlayStation platform. Since these controllers and consoles are a limited edition release, it could be that PlayStation announces it will no longer be restocking retailers, and that what’s left in stores is all that’s left.
