Bethesda dates its epic 2011 game line-up, Brink and Hunted arrive in spring

Bethesda Softworks today revealed release dates for its epic 2011 game line-up, which consists of Brink, Hunted: The Demon’s Forge, RAGE, and The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.

First up is Splash Damage’s Brink, which assaults store shelves on May 17, 2011 in North America and May 20, 2011 in Europe. A first-person shooter with a knack for parkour, Brink fuses single-player, co-op, and multiplayer gameplay into one seamless experience, allowing gamers to develop their characters across all modes of play.

InXile Entertainment’s Hunted: The Demon’s Forge arrives next in Bethesda’s line-up, hacking and slashing its way to stores on June 1, 2011 in North American and June 3, 2011 in Europe. A fantasy-based dungeon crawler, Hunted offers co-op play that encourages actual cooperation; players can switch characters mid-game, for example.

Hot off the summer season comes id Software’s RAGE, launching September 13, 2011 in the U.S. and September 16, 2011 in Europe. Featuring id’s latest texture streaming technology, this FPS with a penchant for vehicular combat offers a giant open world to explore. Check out the latest RAGE screenshots right here.

Finally, as holiday season shopping hits full swing, Bethesda Game Studios will unleash its long-awaiting action-RPG The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim worldwide on November 11, 2011. Featuring a host of new tech and other enhancements, Skyrim picks up 200 years after the end of Oblivion. After an outbreak of civil war, it’s up the last "dragonborn" to save the world from certain destruction.

“We are thrilled to offer our fans such a strong roster of games,” chimed Vlatko Andonov, President of Bethesda Softworks. “We are particularly excited to present such a diverse line-up of high quality titles. 2011 will be a great year for gamers.”
