Bethesda has rolled out its downloadable content plans for Fallout: New Vegas, confirming the first batch, Honest Hearts, will hit Xbox LIVE Marketplace on May 17 and PlayStation Network on May 18.
Honest Hearts has players embarking on an expedition in “the unspoiled wilderness” of Zion National Park, Utah, where you witness your caravan being ambushed by “a tribal raiding band.”
Here, you’ll be caught bang in the middle of a war between tribes and a conflict between a “New Canaanite missionary and the mysterious Burned Man as you try to make it back to the Mojave.” The outcome of the mission will depend up on the choices you make throughout gameplay.
Next up is Old World Blues, which hits PS3, PC and Xbox 360 in June, where players feature as a lab rat in a science experiment gone horribly wrong. July, meanwhile, sees the conclusion to the courier’s story in Lonesome Road.
Lonesome Road has gamers “contacted by the original Courier Six, a man by the name of Ulysses who refused to deliver the Platinum Chip at the start of New Vegas. In his transmission, Ulysses promises the answer as to why, but only if you take one last job – a job that lands you in the depths of the hurricane-swept canyons of the Divide, a landscape torn apart by earthquakes and violent storms.”
To date, Fallout: New Vegas has seen one piece of post-release content in the form of Dead Money, which hit PSN back in February.
