In the latest interview with JeuxVideo, Michel Ancel, who happens to be the father of the Beyond Good and Evil franchise, confirmed that a sequel to the original game is currently in pre-production.
According to Ancel, the title has been in pre-production for the past year and team have been hard at work conducting research for the upcoming sequel.
"We are already working on Beyond Good & Evil 2. For a year we have been in pre-production phase, conducting research work in a small committee. Although at the moment is a preliminary step , And we still need to Ubisoft for the go-ahead."
Ancel further added: "We want to make a direct continuation of the first delivery, with a wide variety of styles of play, a lot of emotions and the involvement of multiple characters."
Much like the expected news of the latest Prince of Persia game, you can probably bet to hear something from Ubisoft in regards to Beyond Good and Evil 2 come May 28-29 when they hold their annual Event Day.
