Experiment 101 and THQ Nordic have released a new trailer for the native PS5 version of Biomutant, which is out today as a free upgrade for those who own the game on PS4.

So, what does the spruced up PS5 version of Biomutant bring to the table? Well, for starters you now have full DualSense functionality, including haptic feedback and adaptive triggers. Beyond that, Biomutant has been given a huge performance upgrade, with three modes available:
- Quality Mode: 4K Resolution @ 30 FPS
- Quality Unleashed: Up to 4K resolution at 50—60 FPS
- Performance Mode: 1440p resolution at a locked 60 FPS

Biomutant was originally released for PS4, PC and Xbox One in May 2021, and you can read our full review here. Despite the general reception to the game being quite mixed, Biomutant was a commercial success, selling over one million copies and recouping its development costs in one week.
