Capcom has pencilled in Bionic Commando for release on PlayStation 3, PC and Xbox 360 in May 2009.
The sequel to the original 1988 NES classic, Bionic Commando pits gamers in the shoes Nathan Spencer; a government operative falsely imprisoned and sentenced to death by the very people whom he served.
As luck would have it, Spencer’s life is ultimately spared after an experimental weapon detonates within Ascension City, causing a mammoth earthquake that leaves the entire metropolis in ruins.
Faced with a diverse, treacherous environment, players must utilize Spencer’s famed Bionic Arm to traverse the ruined landscape of Ascension City while delivering a thorough beating to the local goons and subvert their evil doings.
