2K has announced the BioShock: Collection for PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One following months of rumors.
The bundle includes enhanced versions of BioShock, BioShock 2, and BioShock: Infinite for current-generation consoles, including all previously released single-player downloadable content.
Curiously, the collection eschews the multiplayer component included in BioShock 2, although everything else is there.
The remasters have been handled by Blind Squirrel Games, who has worked with 2K to give all three games a substantial spit and polish, with character models, stages, weapons, and plasmids all boasting improved texture work.
If that wasn’t enough, the collection will also include a behind-the-scenes look at the series with Imagining BioShock, featuring insight by series creator Ken Levine. All three games will run at 60fps/1080p.
Check out the debut trailer below. BioShock: The Collection is released on September 16.
