BioShock The Collection PS4 launch trailer released, would you kindly watch it right now?

2K has released the official BioShock: The Collection launch trailer for your viewing pleasure.

The first-person shooter collection includes spruced up versions of all three BioShock titles (BioShock, BioShock 2, and BioShock Infinite) complete with a 1080p resolution and 60fps overhaul. In addition, the bundle features all available downloadable content for each game.

Check out the launch trailer below.

BioShock was originally released on the PC and Xbox 360 back in August 2007, before arriving on PS3 a year later. BioShock 2 showed up in early 2010 for all three platforms, and originally carried the subtitle ‘Sea of Dreams.’ Finally, BioShock Infinite was released in March 2013 and was supported by two DLC packs known as Burial at Sea.

Developer Irrational Games announced a restructuring process in February 2014, which saw a number of staff laid off, although BioShock creative head Ken Levine remained at the studio. Levine is currently working on a new project, which he describes as a ‘first-person sci-fi game.’

While a new BioShock game has yet to be announced, 2K Games has confirmed that the franchise will live on with BioShock 2 developer 2K Marin at the helm. The series has sold over 25 million units worldwide to date, with Take-Two stating it remains an important IP.
